Delete your account
BibleBook, by NextOne Labs LLC
A BibleBook account is optional. It is created only when you sign in with Google (or Apple), for example to use BibleBook Sync between your devices, and you can delete it at any time. You don’t need to reinstall the app to do it.
If you have a yearly BibleBook Sync plan, cancel it first: deleting the account doesn’t stop the store from renewing it. Bought on this website, cancel it under Manage on the BibleBook Sync page; bought in an app, in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings.
How to delete it
- In the Android or iPhone app: open Settings, go to Sync across devicesand tap Delete account, then confirm.
- On the website: open the Saved page, sign in with the same Google account underBibleBook Sync, and choose Delete account.
- By email: if you can’t sign in any more, write tosupport@biblebook.net from the email address of the account. We delete it within 7 days and reply when it’s done.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes from our server, straight away:
- your account: your name, email address and Google (or Apple) account identifier;
- your highlights, bookmarks, notes, reading plans, reading progress and chosen translations;
- the purchase records with your account (BibleBook Sync: store, product and dates);
- the sign-in keys and device names of every device you signed in on, which are signed out.
Copies in our server’s automatic backups are overwritten within 30 days. We keep nothing else about your account.
What stays
- What’s on your phone or in your browser stays there, so you don’t lose your reading. You can remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing this site’s data in your browser.
- Payment records are kept by Google Play, the App Store or Stripe (and in our accounts for purchases made on this website), as tax law requires. A one-time BibleBook Sync purchase belongs to the deleted account and doesn’t carry over to a new one.
- The usage statistics described on the privacy page don’t identify you and aren’t linked to your account.
If you sign in again later, a new, empty account is created.
