Jeremiah 1:6
“Ah, Lord God,” I said, “I surely do not know how to speak, for I am only a child!”
Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child.”
Note The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.”
Note “Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.
Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! behold, I know not how to speak; for I am a child.
