- One of Dr. Kennicott's MSS. omits, [bên ,] {ben,} "son of," and reads "Jedaiah, Joiarib, Jachin:" which is nearly that of the parallel place. Joiarib, [Yôwyârîyb ,] is merely a contracted form of [Yehôwyârîyb ,] Jehoiarib, by the elision of [Hê',] {hay.}
